Class Evaluation

1. learning different types of careers.
2. I didn’t like that we didn’t have enough time to do more than one student sucess statements.
3. I would recommend having daily CTR card checks.
4. A highlight for this class was learning many life lessons and how to put those tips in my everyday life.
5. I honestly think i could’ve done better, not be as disruptive as I was.
6. Yes, i try to read it for more than five minutes daily I think it’s an amazing thing because it keeps you motivated to do your best and to keep working hard to accomplish your dreams.
7. Yes, I am committed to be a CTR person because doing the right and choosing positive actions get you far in life.
8. I will pass forward to people on how to choose the right and to never choose the wrong.
9. I will always remember that what you put out in the world is what you get in return so if you choose the right, right things will come to you.

This quote has been said to me throughout all of my sophomore year. It has become part of my daily life to be reminded to choose the right. It is very important because when you make positive choices you put positive actions out in the world. When you choose the right people tend to respect you more and admire you. Throughout this year I’ve made some mistakes and i wish i could’ve choose the right. Actions speak louder than words. That’s the ultimate reason why you should always do good. When you are being tested wether to choose the wrong or the right, you should always chose the right even if at times it doesn’t seem like the brightest idea. I had the chance to listen and learned from Mr. Haymore he has given me and other classmates a lot of advice's but the greatest of all is to choose the right. That’s the most memorable thing about this class.

The Harmful Effect of Tobacco

Smoking tobacco is a serious harmful thing that you do to your body. Smokers have trouble breathing because smoking damages the lungs. Also smoking tobacco can cause lung disease and lung cancer.

3. 15.7% of teens smoke tobacco.

4.  You can promote non-smoking by systematically decreasing the number of cigarettes you smoke a day.

I promise to never use tobacco because it damages your overall health.

      Character

If there is beauty in character, there will be harmony at home. If there is harmony at home, there will be order in the nation. If there is order in the nation, there will be peace in the world.

 Conclusion:

If there is beauty in character, there will be peace in the world.

     Challenges Teens Face Today

1. What are several of the major challenges teens deal with today?

                       Some challenges are depression, self- harm, and cyberbullying.

2. What are one or two major challenges YOU are dealing with today? What are you doing about them?

                      One challenge I’m facing is being stressed out. I tend to sleep more and keep calm. Another thing I’m dealing with is anxiety and for this I’m taking medication.  

3. How does being a CTR person help you to overcome any challenge you may face?

                  Being a CTR person helps you overcome challenges by impacting yourself and others in a positive way.

4. How can you help other teens to overcome their challenges?

                  You can be there for them and hear them and give them the best advice you have.

      6. What is the greatest need teens have?

Malik Stewart is a sophomore in high school that practices wrestling. He was wrestling against his opponent and it was a big day for both of them. When they were wrestling his opponent won within a minute and seconds. Then he learned that he had won for his father that was battling with cancer. He then made a great act and when to hug the dad and told him how lucky he was to have a son like him. The other story is about a horse racer that cheated his way to the finish line. He electrocuted his horse while racing so he would be able to go faster and win the race. These are two stories that are completely different. One showing the right thing to do with honesty and the other one choosing the wrong and being dishonest. I learned that you should always be honest because it makes you a more honorable person.

                    Ebola

          Ebola is a virus that causes severe bleeding, organ failure, and can lead to death. This virus is treatable but no cure has been officially found. It is extremely contagious if not careful. It can be transmitted through animals and insects. Also it can spread by blood products like unclean needles or unscreened blood it can also be transmitted by saliva, even by touching contaminated things like a doorknob or blanket. Some symptoms of ebola are pain in entire body, gastrointestinal which is diarrhea,nausea, vomiting and more. Some extra symptoms are coughing up blood and mental confusion. Some medications are supportive care, medications, and specialist. The search still continues for a cure for this horrendous virus that has killed more than 6,000 people.

   Memorial Day

1. Memorial Day is a day on which those who died in active military service are remembered.
2. Memorial Day is on  Monday, May 30.
3. One way is to attend to a Memorial Day Parade, visit a cemetery, or simply write a letter.

Telling the truth is very important so people gain a greater trust on you. Also because it’s a respectful thing to do. Sometimes telling the truth can take someone’s freedom by sending them to jail. So always choose the right and tell the truth.

Duties and responsibilities: They would have to help out people with different range of physical programs.

Salary: $66, 530

Education:

Demand for this profession: It is predicted to grow a 13%

In conclusion i wouldn;t enjoy to be a yoga therapist

 Wellness Specialist

Duties and Responsibilities: Wellness specialists work for schoo;, local governments, or other organizations, they help train people on their health and fitness goals.

Salary: $49, 480

Education: Bachelor’s degree in health education

Demand for this profession:

Duties and Responsibilities: Medical scientist conduct research aimed to improve human’s overall health. THey also do clinical trials to investigate methods of their findings.

Education: You need a Ph. D to become a medical scientist.

Demand for this profession: Projected to grow a 8% from 2014-2024

In retrospect i would love to have the opportunity to study and become a medical scientist. I find it really interesting. Also because you can do clinical trials which can help our society in many ways, like finding a cure of meningitis or cancer.

I think that these indian commandments are great. They are really pure and good intentional. I also think that these commandments are great to pass down to friends and family members.

Duties and responsibilities: An alternative massage medicine that focuses on the hands and feet.

Education: Associate’s degree and state license

Demand for this profession: Predicted to grow a 16 percent from 2024- 2024

In retrospect i wouldn’t like to study or do this profession. I don’t find it to my interest.

             This quote means that when you say something you should do as you said. Keep your word. Be honest. If you say you’re going to do something then do it. Own up to your saying. An example of this quote would be making a promise to your mother of being home early and feeding the dogs at 4. You should be there at 4 like you say you were. You should always own up to all of your promises. People tend to trust you a lot more when you do the thing you say you would do. Overall always choose the right.

Registered Nurse

Duties and Responsibilities:They provide and coordinate patient care

Education: You need a bachelor’s degree in nursing, an associate’s degree in nursing, or a diploma from a nursing program and you must be licensed.

Demand for this profession: It is projected to grow a 16 percent between 2014-2024

In retrospect i would like to do this profession. I find it interesting in many ways. To begin with the fact that you get to help others is amazing.

This quote means that as long as your good nothing bad can really happen to you. Doing whats god is the best choice you can ever make in your life. Be a good person. Choose the right. Not only will you be doing good stuff but you will also feel good about yourself.An example of this quote is going out and being home earlier than your expected. This shows you respect rules and know how to show thankfulness. Another example is not cheating. Choose the right every time you can.

    Recreation Therapist

Duties and Responsibilities: Plan and coordinate programs for people with disabilities, injuries or illnesses.

Salary: $45, 890

Education: You need a bachelor’s degree

Demand for this profession: Expected to grow a 12 percent from 2014- 2024        

In retrospect i would not like to do this profession. It really doesn’t catch my attention.
