This quote means that you you can get and be anything you want depending on how much you desire it. An example of this quote would be passing a test. If you really want to pass it then you will study because thats what you want its the choice you took. But if you decide to not study and fail the test then thats your choice but it will lead you to nowhere. Choose the right. Always  make good choices and you will get far in life.
