Class Evaluation 

In this class we got to do many different type of things. My best-loved part about this class was doing the medical career posts. I found it very interesting  how there is more medical careers than the ones that we already know. I think this class is great over all. But i think that if we were to do other type of careers not just medical it would even be more interesting. For example do two days of medical careers and one day of other non medical career. In my opinion I believe that I did try my best in this class. The only thing that i wish i should of done is try harder in my typing tutor. As a person I am committed to be a CTR because throughout the class i learned that choosing the right gets you far in life oppose to choosing the wrong. By choosing the right yourself you might impact someone else's life in a positive way. so you should always choose the right.

My IDP showcase experience was extraordinary I loved every apart of it. Even though I was a little nervous i did great. All of my team members did really good as well. As a matter of fact we all received a 4 which is a perfect score. My favorite part of the showcase is seeing my parents proud on what i learn and actually see me present to them. My second favorite part of the showcase is seeing everyone dress up nicely. Everyone looked great. Our presentation was about HIV/AIDS. My part was to present background history. I found it very interesting how more than 60% of the population in Africa is infected with HIV/AIDS. After doing all the research and presenting my knowledge towards HIV/AIDS has grew even more. The whole project not only benefited me but others by showing us how to work together and by improving our presenting skills. I could apply what I learn about HIV/AIDS by taking serious measurements and always protecting myself. Also by spreading the word and letting others know more about HIV/AIDS.

This quote means that you should always chose the right. Do whats best. Surround yourself with positive people. The key to being successful in life is to always do whats right. An example of this quote is passing your finals. A person that stays in and studies is doing right and most likely pass his/her final. Oppose to someone who goes out and parties. This person will not pass a final unless they study which they didn't do. Meaning that they would fail and not be successful. That's why you should always chose the right and be with people that impact your life in a very positive way. Doing right is not only for your own good but for the good of others. So do whats right and always chose the right.

This quote means that if people can trust you, doing your best, and treating others right you will be successful in life. Being truth worthy is very important. For example when you get a job, your boss has to have some type of trust towards you. If he trusts you then he will hire you and you will be successful. Always trying and doing your best at something is very important to. Give it your best shot even if it seems impossible. Some times the results might surprise you. Lastly, treat others the way you want to be treated. For example being nice and generous to someone. Life will later pay you someway or another. Be nice, generous, honest, trust worthy and of course always chose the right.

This quote means that being healthy is good. Sometimes we think that just by having a nice body we are healthy which is wrong. Being healthy is maintaining a good body weight but also having a good healthy mind. The way we view things. Always stay positive. The more positive you stay the better things that will happen to you. 

Bora Bora

Bora Bora is located northwest of Tahiti or you could say south of Hawaii. It is an island. In fact it is considered the most beautiful island in the planet. It is considered beyond beautiful that it would leave you with no words. It is also considered a tourist island and this is were the people that live in the island get their money from. The population in the island is very little around 8,880 people. The people that live there are most likely to speak French. Since its a tropical area foods that you might eat there are most likely to be cold. Lastly, I chose this place because its beautiful. Its relaxing. Its full with fun history and different cultures. I hope one day i get to visit this beautiful island.

This quote means that if you are kind to others you will get far in life. Being nice gets you to a better path. Leads you to brighter days. It is the key to success. An example of this quote is of someone being nice to another person. For instance if you have a cookie and you share it with your friend it is showing how kind you are. Not only will you feel good about yourself but you have also made the other person happy. An example of not being kind is not sharing your stuff. Being selfish. This will not get you far in life. So choose the right and spread kindness around. 

For Thanksgiving Week i mostly spend it with my family. My dad, mom, and my brother. On the day of thanksgiving I helped my mom cook some food. Later as a family we set the table up and at night we enjoyed an splendid meal. We stayed home on Thanksgiving but throughout the week i went out with my friends. We went to the movies, hiking, and the beach. We watched the movie "Creed". We went hiking to Griffith Park. Lastly we went to Dockweiler beach. In my alone time i read the book To Kill A Mockingbird. It was very interesting. Overall my Thanksgiving break was awesome.

 This quote means that if you know an action that you are about to take isn't right then do not do it. Do whats right. Choose the right thing. Also if you heard a rumor or something but you aren't sure if its true then do not say it. Don't spread rumors. Its a bad thing to do. An example of this quote is a person saying something bad about another person. If you don't know that person well then do not say anything bad about them. Get to know them. And even if the rumors are true do not spread them because it isn't nice. My mom always tells me ''if you don't have anything nice to say then don't say it at all." So always do whats right./ Choose the right. 

                                     Thanksgiving Day

Thanksgiving day is a day when you thank God for everything you have in life. This holiday commemorates a harvest festival celebrated by pilgrims in the year of 1621, and is celebrated in the US on the 4th Thursday of November. Many people celebrate this day in different ways. Some go to a parade held in New York, some go bike riding, some donate food for the poor, and others just stay home with their family. The main reason for this day is to be thankful for all the things you have in life, to show gratitude. 

Conclusion: In life I am thankful for many things. One and most importantly is having the family that i do they mean the world to me, because of them i am who i am today. I am thankful for having a home, being safe. Also having food to eat, many individuals out there don't have the privilege to eat three meals a day. Having an education. Having friends that support me. Being healthy. Being able to have a phone. I am really thankful for everyday i have in life. Having money. Having clothes. Being happy. Having Netflix. And lastly i am thankful for being loved.

This quote means that doing the right thing is better. Do whats best.At the end of the day you are going to feel honorable. Sometimes winning isn't everything. And sometimes winning while cheating doesn't feel right. You feel guilty,dishonest. An example of this quote is a student taking a test. The teacher asks him/her id they were cheating. He says no but deep down he know he was copying. For the rest of the day hes going to feel really dishonest. But being honest to others with make you honorable. So choose the right.

What W. Clement Stone is trying to tell us that living a life with integrity is always better. He says if you follow these three magic steps you will live a better life. For number one he is trying to say that you should say no to things that you know are wrong. For example if a friend offers you drugs you should say no and walk away. My mom always tells me that whatever i do i should always face the consequences. An example of this is when you get caught copying someone else's homework, own up to it and say the truth. That's basically what number two is trying to say face the truth and say the truth even if its hard and get punish. At the end you will feel relief and better about yourself because you were honest. Lastly, number three is saying to always choose the right, it leads you to a better pathway. So remember these few steps and you will live with a lot of integrity. Most importantly you will be happy with yourself.

Duties and responsibilities:  As a model you have many responsibilities, one of them is applying makeup to enhance your features, display merchandise,follow strict diet, sleep, and exercise to maintain appearance.
Salary:18, 750
Education: To be a model you need less than high school but having a high school diploma is always better.

Reflection: After analyzing what a model does i would highly enjoy this career. It pays well and it seems like fun.  

                                     Veterans Day 

It is a holiday held of the end of World War 1 and to honor all the veterans and victims of all wars. We honor them on every November 11. The purpose of veterans day is to commemorate all the veterans that have served in every war. It is important to show respect because many men and women that have served and sacrifice themselves to go fight for our freedom. One way to honor them is to attend to a parade and honor them. Another way is to donate to an organization. This are great ways to show appreciation. 

 Reflection: Veterans Day is a great holiday to honor those who have past away or the ones that are still battling for our freedom. Sometimes we forget what others do for our country. But you should always remember veterans day. We should show respect to those who have past and thank them, for defending and volunteering to fight for our country. You have to have a lot of bravery to go out there and fight. We as citizens should recognize veterans day a little more. I think we should give more importance to this day because they have given so much and it is just fair for us to recognize it. I am really grateful for all the veterans.

   This quote means that who ever you surround yourself with matters. If you surround yourself with positive people then you are more likely to do good positive stuff for yourself and  others. An example of this quote is a high school student. He wants to graduate but he knows that if his companions/friends are good people the way to graduate will be more easy. Not being pressure to do drugs instead being pressure to study and do the right thing. Like everything their is always a good and a bad side. Surrounding yourself with good people will obviously lead you to a positive path but if you surround yourself with bad people they might lead you on to a bad, negative path. An example of this quote is having friends that like to party, drink, and smoke. You are choosing bad companionship. This will lead you nowhere. So remember choose the right and become a wiser person.

            This quote means that doing good makes you feel good. Always do good. Do what you know its right. Go with what you know its right. One example of this quote is wearing your uniform. Even though you might not like wearing uniform it is the right thing to do. Follow the rules. Another example of this quote is when someone does their homework. The person will feel good about themselves for doing the right thing. Choose the right.

      This quote means to always choose the right. Even when your friends or those who surround you aren't doing the right thing. You as a person should know whats right or wrong. An example of this quote is when you go to a party and everyone else is drinking you should always be the bigger person and stand out for yourself. You should always say no to drugs. Do the right thing. Another example of this quote doing an essay, just because other students don't do it, it doesn't mean you wont have to do it. Always do what betters yourself. Your morals are worth more than by taking wrong choices. Choose the right. 

                                                   

Health Educator 

Duties and responsibilities: A health educator teaches about behaviors that promote you overall wellness. They develop strategies to improve the health of individuals.
Salary: 41,830
Education: You need a high school diploma and a bachelors degree.

Reflection: Overall I think i would enjoy doing this profession, it looks like fun and its also a well paying job.

This quote means to do do what you desire the most.Wait patiently and good things will approach you. Sometimes we can be stubborn and think that what we want now is more important than other things but this isn't true. Good things take time to happen. Patience is key. Don't give up no matter how hard it gets. An example of this quote is a student trying to go to college, he needs to pass an exam in order for him to graduate but he also wants to go to a party. Even though a party sounds like fun he should stay home and study because going to college is more important than going to a party. Put your bigger dreams first.

Duties and Responsibilities: A health administrator is a person who is responsible for a day to day operation of a clinic, hospital, or a managed care organization or public health agency.
Salary: $161,150
Education: It requires a masters degree plus a number of years of experience.

Reflection: In retrospect, i would like to be a health administrator because its a well paying job. Also because it has to do with managing stuff and im the type of person that likes to keep everything in control.

                      This quote means that having a good name, a good outlook of who you are is better than being rich. Being rich has its positive side but also negative sides. Being a good person in general is better than having millions. It also means that happiness is more important than money. Why have money and be unhappy? Life is all about enjoying it, but how are you going to enjoy it if you are unhappy? My mom always tells me "money isn't everything" and indeed she is correct. An example of this quote is a man with millions of dollars but he is unhappy because he has no one to spend not only his money but his entire life. At the end your self outlook and happiness is way more important than money.

As we all know that whatever we do in this life even if its bad or good it will follow you until you die. In other words your reputation. What you do is your choice, you choose to the be the person that you want. But isn't it nice when other people hear your name and get happy, get good memories, its a great feeling overall. From the moment you take your first breath till you take you last breath whatever you do in your lifetime will follow you forever always remember that. One example of this quote is someone who does their homework and obeys rules. This person will have a good reputation and people are most likely going to be happy being around them. Also having a good reputation will help you succeed in life. Oppose to someone who chooses the wrong they will have a bad reputation and most likely not succeed in life. Choose the right.

  This quote means that sometimes when your different from people is not always a bad thing. Different is sometimes good, it makes you stand out. Always chose the right. Say and do for what you stand for, your morals, your altitude as a person. Being different is good especially when you do something positive in a negative position. An example of this quote is when you go to a party and all your friends are peer pressuring you to drink, but you should have the courage to say no and maybe this action will help another person to say no too. Another example of this quote is when your friends are smoking, you know its wrong so you should say no. Always be the person that chooses the right. At the end the one who does good end up getting further in life, ends up being more successful. Choose the right.

This quote means that the better things you do in life, the closer you get to be a champion. Being a champion is not just a title you have to live and look up to that tittle. Always choosing the right will make you successful in life. An example of this quote is staying after school to help others that are in need of help.

  Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) Specialist

Duties and Responsibilities: An ENT is a physician trained in the medical and surgical treatment of the ears, nose and throat and related structures of the head and neck.

Salary: $302,500

Education: To become an ENT you need to go to an undergraduate of 4 years of college or university.

          In retrospect I would highly enjoy being an ENT.

    This quote means that success is not a mistake its actually a personal will that you make. You either chose to be successful or unsuccessful. And who doesn't want to be successful. The actions you take everyday determine who you will become in the future. If you take a positive action it will impact your life in a positive way. Everyday you have the opportunity to make a change in the world, so why not start today, make a positive change and you will become a much more positive person. An example of this quote is going to school on time everyday, this will impact your life in a positive way in your future because it makes you be punctual to things which is a good thing.

Refection: This quote means that obedience is the most important skill that we have as a person. Being able to listen and follow directions can sometimes be challenging for certain people. We have to keep obeying and building that skill everyday. An example of this quote is a teenager that listens to every word his parents tell him. He obeys their rules and for obeying his reward would be them trusting him/her. There is nothing better than someone trusting you. Another example of this quote is when you listen to your teacher and you do all your work, this will change the perspective the teacher has towards you and also in reward you get higher grades. So everyday build on your obedience because that's whats going to make you successful in life, being able to listen, and follow directions.

Choosing the right will lead you into a better life and future.An example of this quote is for instance staying home studying for a quiz that you have the next day instead of going out and wasting time with friends. S o always choose the right.

Duties and Responsibilities: Dermatologist are physicians who help people with skin problems. 

Salary:$283,000

Education: You need a bachelors degree. 

Conclusion: In retrospect i think i would like to be a dermatologist because its a well paying job and i would enjoy doing it.

This quote means that when you are obedient you are a happy person. When you obey to something and choose the right it helps you become a better person and helps you grow and expand positive vibes. An example of this quote is when you do what you are told you obey it and at the end you feel great about yourself.

                     MAKE-UP ARTIST 

Duties and responsibilities:A makeup artist is a person that makes sure that presenters,performers, and models have appropriate makeup and hairstyles before going on cameras.
Salary: $64,000 a year
Education:High school diploma and some type of cosmetology training program.

Reflection: After analyzing what a makeup artist does i would highly like to do this profession not only because its a well paying job but also because it looks like fun, I would enjoy doing this.

What John Wooden meant by this quote is that your self being is way more important than being a basketball player meaning that your perspective on viewing things and acting upon them is more important because people view you by your actions. What matters is who you are as a person not what you are. One example of this quote is when someone does something nice this shows who you are like personality wise.

                                         DENTAL ASSISTANT

Duties and Responsibilities: A dental assistant is basically a helper that prepares tools for the dentist use.
Salary:34,500 
Education: You need a high school diploma and do different programs in college.
   

After analyzing what a dentist assistant does I would highly enjoy doing this profession. It seems easy and a well paying job.

             This quote is trying to say that when you're dishonest you feel guilty and you never feel right. At the end of the day honesty is one of the most valuable aspects that we have in life, if we all lie to each other we have nothing but a bunch of dishonest people and as you know lies create problems and who wants problems? no one does. An example of this quote is when you cheat on a test and the teacher asks you if you cheated and you respond with a "no" knowing that you did you're not gonna feel good about yourself and at the end of the day you cheated on yourself and it will affect you. Another example is when  you lie to your parents about something knowing that they trust you but you choose the wrong and lie to them. In retrospect, this quote means to do good and you will feel good about yourself.
